Pan Tool

Introduction

The Pan Tool allows you to move around the PDF canvas without selecting or modifying any content. It is especially useful for reviewing large drawings or navigating detailed documents.

Step 1: Open the Pan Tool

Locate the Pan Tool, represented by a hand icon, in the toolbar on the left side of the screen. Click the icon to activate the tool.

Shortcut: H

Step 2: Pan Across the Document

With the Pan Tool active, click and drag anywhere on the canvas to move across the document.

Step 3: Switch Back to Editing

Switch back to the Select Tool or another annotation tool to resume editing.

The Pan Tool provides a smooth way to navigate large or detailed PDFs without accidentally editing content. It is ideal for reviewing drawings and inspecting details at different zoom levels.
